PERAK and Malacca booked their place in the PHM-MILO-MSN National Under-16 boys semifinals after securing comfortable victories in their final matches in Group B today.
Perak finished on top of Group B with 10 points after thumping Pahang 5-1, while Malacca finished second with seven points after beating Johor 4-2 today.
Perak picked up their goals courtesy of Mohammad Aiman Zahari (7 and 34), Muhammad Najme Ahmad Hayazi (43 and 46) and Muhammad Johari Sani (61). Pahang’s consolation goal was scored by Sutrisno Saimin.
In the semifinal tomorrow, Perak will face Terengganu who defeated Negri Sembilan 4-2.
Malacca will have a daunting task as they will be up against defending champions Kuala Lumpur in their semifinal encounter.
Kuala Lumpur remained undefeated after five games as they completed their Group A matches by thumping Selangor 6-1 today.
Defending champions Kuala Lumpur are eying their sixth consecutive title..
